Alternate Route Opportunities
Recognizing that many regions of the country do not have an integrated comprehensive sequentially ordered program in dance/movement therapy, the ADTA recognizes an alternate route to registry. The alternate route is designed for individuals with extensive dance/movement background wishing to pursue master's level training in dance/movement therapy in combination with study in a related field (i.e., social work, psychology, counseling, special education, and dance). For specific information about attaining the alternate route DTR, write to ADTA-Credentials Committee.
