The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), announces two PT Creative Arts job openings (each 16 hrs weekly) available immediately.

Both are 16 hrs weekly (no UPMC benefits).  Previous psychiatric inpatient experience required for CEAT II, and strongly preferred for CEAT I.  Flexibility re psychiatric populations served, and flexible work hours. 
 
This is an opportunity to work in one’s modality with a team of other arts therapists, which include music, art, dance/movement, and yoga therapy.  We are especially looking for an art and/or dance/movement therapist.  A great PT job for the right person who wants to live in Pittsburgh!

Case Manager Behavioral Health

Exciting new position for experienced case manager with mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment skills. This position provides assessments, referrals, linkage, counseling, crisis intervention and case management in collaboration with the Behavioral Medicine Nurse and the Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to Emergency Department patients and inpatients on medical units (and their families) who have co-existing behavioral health problems and medical problems.

Hours: 11: 30 am to 8 pm on four weekdays. Candidate must be willing to work daytime hours on Saturday.

Applicants should hold a Masters degree, or equivalent, in psychology, counseling, social work, rehabilitation or a related field and have 2 years experience in the mental health field.  Competitve salary and benefits.

Vsa Arts of Texas:  Accessible Arts Programs Master's level dance therapist with a strong developmental background and solid leadership skills and experience in working with children in groups sought for expressive arts therapy team within a successful and progressive arts organization. This is a unique opportunity to work with other Master's level expressive arts therapists in a team setting, providing innovative and effective arts therapy programming for children and adolescents.  Pay commensurate with experience. Individual ADTR / Counseling clinical supervision is provided weekly, and group supervision with the whole team is scheduled monthly.  Supervision also applicable to counseling licensure or certification. The Accessible Arts School Outreach Program offers music, art, and dance/movement therapy services and teacher training through the Austin public school system, for children with special needs and social/behavioral challenges.  This contract position is for about 4 months and includes consultation with participating teachers, program development specific to classroom needs, and training of teachers at the beginning and end of the 12 week program. 10-20 hours per week. Movement Therapist  To assist in the design and implementation of a movement therapy program.  Uses movement and other non-verbal techniques to accomplish treatment goals, plans movement activities to aide in the restoration, maintenance and improvement of psychiatric patients, which may also include supervising the work of and participating in the training of Therapy Aides. Starting Salary:  Up to $48,667.06 depending credentials, 40 hours per week. EDUCATION:      Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major course of study in Dance, Dance Therapy or Dance Education. EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience providing movement therapy. NOTE: For positions not requiring certification,a Master's degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one (1) year of experience. NOTE: Applicants may be required to possess a certification as a Dance Therapist Registered issued by the American Dance Therapy Association.
