R-DMT Recertification / Continuing Education
R-DMT Recertification
- Required of all R-DMTs
- Occurs every 5 years, starting the year the highest certificate is attained
- To recertifv the Certificant must:
- Submit a Recertification Filing Form verifying the DMT’s completion of the required CE hours.
- Recertification Notification and the link to the online form is emailed to Certificants in mid-February and due by April 15.
- Extension Requests must be filed by May 15 of the recertification year.
- Pay a $25.00 (USD) maintenance fee.
- Each year, 10% of all recertifying Certificants are subject to a random audit
Continuing Education Requirements:
Each R-DMT is responsible for accruing 50 CE hours (or 5 CE hours for R-DMT- Reduced Practice), every five years.
It is the R-DMT’s responsibility to keep accurate records and all required documentation for their CE activities including uploading the documentation to CE Tracker using this link: Getting to Know Your CE Tracker .
