The 22nd Annual International Panel, please click on this link International Panel to view.

As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the American Dance Therapy Association, we welcome International Panelists from 6 continents to share their unique perspectives on Dance/Movement Therapy in their countries. This year we interweaved new panelists and new countries, representatives from both well-established and new training programs, and looked at the growth of innovative international connections across borders. The 2016 International Panel clearly demonstrated the dynamic significance of honoring the rich past, acknowledging the vibrant present, and looking forward to the exciting future of the global evolution of Dance/Movement Therapy.

Profiles Panel of Third Generation ADTA Presidents with Linni Deihl, Robyn Flaum Cruz, Sherry W. Goodill & Jody Wager

A living history of the field of Dance/Movement Therapy given by our panel of dance/movement therapists who have lived and danced and practiced dance/movement therapy for several decades. These dance therapists practice in different ways but all have significantly contributed to the body of knowledge in our field. In addition, all have served our ADTA organization as presidents. We share stories of how our presidents from the third generation came to our profession…what was their vision and mission and how did it impact their journey. Our first generation taught our second generation DMT’s. Our third generation presidents are all graduates from our dance/movement therapy graduate programs. It is vital for our profession to maintain connections between generations so that we continue to transmit our history
